Program admission at TGI is competitive, and applicants will be considered using the same criteria. The admissions committee will consider each applicant individually in relationship to the entire applicant pool. TGI reserves the right to limit the number of students admitted based on faculty and clinical resources. The Institution’s entire programs are taught in English.

PN Admission Requirement

1. Student must be at least 18 years of age or older
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. Admission application and nonrefundable application fee
4. TEAS or HESI A2 test with the minimum following scores: Practical Nurse – 75 HESI A2 Pre-Admission Exam with a minimum score of (ONLY 3 attempts allowed within a calendar year.)
5. Criminal Background check
6. TB Test (PPD test/ chest X-ray)
7. Pay a non-refundable registration fee of $150.00.
8. Must have a personal interview with the Program Director.
9. Must submit a signed enrollment agreement.

Additional Admission Requirements for the Practical Nursing Program

• Level II Background Check
• 12 Panel Drug Screening Test Results

Practical Nursing Program, must have the following documents before clinical rotation:

• Medical report attesting to good health.
• Provide proof of negative PPD within the past 6 months or chest X-ray within 1 year.
• Proof of immunizations: Polio, Tetanus, Hepatitis B series, Varicella, and Influenza titers during flu season.

Soon after receiving the application, the Admissions Department will contact the student to assist throughout the enrollment process. Essential documents, including transcripts, enrollment agreement, and payment method are required to be fulfilled by the applicant.
